Check products against your own allergies and preferences

Personal Suitability compares a product’s recorded evidence with concerns you choose to save — allergies, sensitivities, dietary preferences, ingredients to avoid and nutrition goals — and shows where it finds a conflict, a caution, or not enough information.

What you can choose to save

General product information is the same for everyone. Personal Suitability adds a comparison only you see, based on what you select.

  • Allergies

Any of nine major allergens: milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, soy, wheat, sesame, fish and crustacean shellfish.

  • Intolerances or sensitivities

Treated as a caution to review rather than an allergy conflict.

  • Dietary preferences

Diets you follow, compared with the diets recorded for each product.

  • Ingredients to avoid

Specific ingredients you prefer not to buy.

  • Nutrition goals

Reduce sodium, reduce added sugar, increase protein or increase dietary fibre.

What it can and cannot tell you

What it can tell you

  • A direct ingredient or manufacturer “Contains” conflict with an allergy you saved
  • A manufacturer “May contain” or cross-contact warning to review
  • A mismatch with a dietary preference, an avoided ingredient or a nutrition goal
  • When there is not enough recorded information to confirm compatibility

What it cannot conclude

  • That a product is safe or allergen-free — “no conflict found” only covers the available evidence.
  • Anything about your health: it is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
  • Missing product information never becomes a match or a mismatch; it is shown as unknown.
